The FOR organisation consists of Irish aid workers with more than 15 years’ experience of the Romanian problem, as well as concerned supporters from all over Ireland and Europe. FOR is supported and endorsed by the following organisations:

TRADE AID: A voluntary organisation within the Irish construction industry with a wealth of experience in providing technical support to Irish NGO’s working in Eastern Europe.

THE AURELIA TRUST: A Cork based Irish NGO working in Eastern Europe. Aurelia Trust currently operates one group home for children from the Negru Voda orphanage in southern Romania, in partnership with the local authority.  The trust has brought its expertise to bear in devising sustainable solutions to the Romanian crisis, and is at the forefront of the area of social policy reforms in Romania.

TO RUSSIA WITH LOVE: TRWL is an Irish NGO which operates the successful Khotolova project in the Bryansk region of Russia, and is involved in designing child care policies and systems for the government of Bryansk.

FOR is a one-issue organisation with no connection to any political or sectarian group. Our only concern is the issue of human rights for children and young adults in state care in Romania.
